Delmarva Foundation - is contracted by the State of Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to provide quality assurance for the State’s Developmental Disabilities Services system. We work in partnership with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) at the central office as well as with each local Area office.
Disability Rights Florida (formerly the Advocacy Center) - The mission of Disability Rights Florida is to advance the quality of life, dignity, equality, self-determination, and freedom of choice of persons with disabilities through collaboration, education, advocacy, as well as legal and legislative strategies.
The Family CAFÉ - The idea that grew into the Family Cafe was the result of a vision - the vision of a statewide conference just for individuals with special needs and their families. A conference to become a forum where families and self-advocates could educate themselves on how to utilize the programs available to them and where professionals and policymakers could interact directly with the families and individuals they serve.
Family Care Council Florida - To advocate, educate and empower individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, partnering with the Agency for Persons With Disabilities (APD), to bring quality services to individuals for dignity and choice.
Florida Association of Rehabilitation Facilities –Florida ARF’s mission is to “promote the interests of people with disabilities by acting as a public policy change agent, and to promote and serve the interests of community human service provider organizations.”
The Florida Developmental Disabilities Council – Advocate and promote meaningful participation in all aspects of life for Floridians with developmental disabilities.
Family Network on Disabilities of Florida, Inc. - to ensure through collaboration that individuals have full access to family-driven support, education, information, resources, and advocacy and to serve families of children with disabilities, ages birth through 26, who have the full range of disabilities described in section 602(3) of IDEA.
